Overcome Greed?

Cameron Delón a principal at my local high school, president on the board of education, 6”ft tall, blonde and even the captain of the madtown furies rugby team for the past 3 years, and yet he still felt at the time he had no control, what he could do in his own home. 

“When I was in my apartment I felt like I couldn’t do anything, paint the walls, add new features to the apartment, nothing! And to top it all off we had to pay the same, amount of money as a regular house so at that point buying a home just made more sense.”

When thinking about the word greed traditionally, the image from Dante's inferno probably pops into mind, a large man with snarling teeth shoveling grapes and decadent food in his mouth, and not one to chew, washes the assortment down with wine in a over-sized goblet. 

But is it as complicated ーor as grossーas we think? 

Long before the first church or “forgive me father for I have sinned”, Man decided to hunt. With spears, rocks and bow & arrows and in between planning, stalking and finally chasing wild, untamed animals to feed our families…when did we decide that this was all too much for 1 rabbit, promptly leave Thumper to the wolves and move on to Bambi?  

When did we decide that what we have wasn't enough?
