Our First "Piece": The Man Who Broke My No-Brawn Rule

He's tall, dark, and handsome, but not in the way you'd expect.

 More like Tall, dark, and a whole lot of skinny.

 My brain always told me to go for the guy with a little meat on his bones, but his deliciously posh accent and impassioned coffee-colored eyes made me rethink everything. 

We're talking about Dev Patel. 

A man who can rock a simple t-shirt and jeans like it's haute couture, although, who am I kidding? He'd definitely look just as delicious without it ; )

He's got that boyish charm that makes you want to get closer, just to see what kind of trouble you can get into.  

Not to mention the way his dark hair falls just so, the steely gaze he seems to have when he's not paying attention, and the very fact that he looks good from every angle—I've checked, believe me—makes me want to break out the measuring tape and get to work Karen Walker style.

But let's be real, it's not just about his looks. He has a way of holding himself that screams "hot hipster with a secret intellectual side." Even when he strikes one of his more serious and dashing poses, he still has this smoothed-out "edge" about him. And when he smiles? O.M.G., dimples are so, out. Whatever he has, I’m into it.

I can't help but imagine..

All in all, since the first time I saw him in Slumdog Millionaire to his first and recent masterpiece Monkey Man, I knew he was the perfect mix of hot nerd and a hint of playfulness. And that is a trade-in I can definitely make for a few muscles and protein shakes.
